Great location, but be aware of the deposit scheme! Positive: The location of the flat is great, it is very central and everything is in walking distance. In addition, the kitchen and living room is very spacious and has a proper dining table, which is nice. Negative: There are two main points: 1) The landlord uses a deposit scheme via a website that is not booking.com. You will have to enter your credit card details on an external website. Unfortunately, you'll only learn this once you have made the (in our case non-refundable) booking. 2) The first point is especially annoying as the website requires you to take photos of everything in the flat that is damaged when you arrive. Now the flat is on the older side with clear signs of wear and tear. So if you want to be on the safe side you'd need to spend literally hours taking photos of the flat. Especially when you arrive late at night, like we did, this is incredibly annoying. The frustrating part is that here the landlord uses a lazy approach that transfers all the work and responsibility to the tenant. For example, it would be possible for the landlord to just get an insurance and add the fee to the room rate. Or the landlord could prepare a binder that reflects accurately the state of the flat. Then the tenant could just take a photo of that, to agree with the state of the flat rather than having to upload photos of everything in the flat.

Very satisfactory flat. Negative: Foyer light not working, but otherwise it was generally very good.

Perfect Location Positive: This apartment is in a fantastic location close to two different grocery stores, restaurants and shops in the historic heart of Dijon. The apartment was bright, nice-sized, with a great kitchen and living space. We loved having both a washer and a dryer. This was one of our favorite stays in a month-long tour around France. It felt like home. We would stay here again! Negative: The check-in time was fairly late at 5 p.m. with no options to stow luggage. People on the street could be noisy at night, but it is somewhat expected in the heart of the city.

Séjour agréable dans le coeur historique de Dijon. Positive: Logement idéalement situé dans le centre ville historique de Dijon, très propre et bien conçu. Negative: Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu de notice pour utiliser la télévision. Dommage aussi que le lit ait été équipé d'une couette, et qu'il n'ait pas été proposé d'utiliser un autre drap si on avait trop chaud. Il manquait un élément à la machine à café, qui finissait toujours par fuir.

Nice warm cosy apartment right in the centre with easy access to train, supermarket & restaurants. Positive: Very well equipped with everything you would need. Great to have a separate washer and dryer too. Excellent location.
